Our Trustees are responsible for governing and overseeing the management of our charity. Their role is paramount to a charity’s success and public trust. They are legally and ethically obligated to ensure the charity operates in line with its stated purpose, upholds its mission, and manages its assets responsibly. This includes setting the strategic direction, ensuring financial accountability, and upholding the charity’s values. The importance of trustees lies in their role as guardians of the public good; they are entrusted with resources donated by individuals and organisations to serve a specific cause. Effective trustees provide sound oversight, strategic vision, and risk management, all of which are critical for a charity to maintain its credibility, achieve its goals, and make a tangible positive impact on society.
