Bowel Matters is a registered charity established to provide support for anyone affected by Bowel Cancer in the UK. It is run by a volunteer team of trustees and moderators.
We interact with individuals directly through the Bowel Cancer Support Group UK and our other online Facebook groups. We provide safe advice, information and mental health support as well as moderating the peer support. This is backed up by the information on our website.
We also look to the future through our patient advocacy. Enabling people with lived experience of bowel cancer to work with researchers, health organisations and policy-makers to improve diagnosis, treatment, care and support.

LEGACY & Funeral Donations
We know that the support we provide through our online groups is a great help to people on their cancer journey. Many are able to move on and thank us when they leave.
Anyone involved with bowel cancer understands that not all cancers are treatable or survivable. Members find solace and help from our palliative care support groups.
Several of the Bowel Matters trustees have lost close family members ourselves and found support from the group.
